Reservation Policy

 

  1. All bookings are deemed provisional until we have received the specified deposit. 

  2. Your booking fee is a 25% deposit of the total amount, payable when booking. If your booking cannot accept, the fee will be refunded.

  3. Upon receipt of your deposit, we will send you a confirmation via email detailing the balance, which is due four weeks before arrival. 

  4. Bookings are subject to the understanding that the property and contents will be cared for and left in the same clean and tidy state. Should any damage or breakage occur, the occupier is liable to pay compensation.

  5. If you have any cause for complaint or accidental damage, please report to management and not after your holiday stay. We will try and rectify the situation as best as possible.

  6. Grenaby Estates accepts NO LIABILITY for any loss, damage, sickness or injury, however, caused, which may be sustained during the holiday to the guest and or any member of the party or visiting persons and their belongings. Any liability on the part of Grenaby Estates to any guest arising in any way out of the booking shall be limited to the actual amount paid by the guest and shall in no case include any consequential loss or damage.

  7. The acceptance of a booking is on the understanding that no more than the maximum number of people as specified in the regulations shall use it. The Hayloft sleeps 2. The Granary sleeps 4. The Stalls sleep 2, and Sheerghlass is for a party of 4 (6 upon request). ( Babies under the age of two will not be included as members of your party ). 

  8. Under no circumstances can the accommodation be sublet to third parties.

  9. The management is to be allowed access to the property at any reasonable time during the holiday stay. Grenaby Estates reserves the right to terminate your accommodation if it should cause an excess nuisance to adjoining properties.

  10. Holidays are from Saturday to Saturday for a week or Mon-Thursday or Friday to Sunday for a short break unless otherwise agreed in writing. Holidays start from 3 pm on arrival day until 10 am on departure day. 

  11. Prices are fully inclusive. All bed linen and towels are provided.

  12. Towels within the cottage are for cottage use only.

  13. There is a NO SMOKING POLICY in the Cottages.

  14. Please leave the property clean and tidy on departure days. Should the accommodation require a final clean on departure day, a housekeeping service is available at the cost of £20.00
